Creativity and New Media

In the virtual world, players can do things they can't do in real life. Players can be heroes in the virtual world, as superman. I put the concept of life into my virtual game. The reason I want to bring life into the virtual world is that I think sometimes it's hard to control our lives. For example, it's really hard to control my life for a variety of reasons. I can't do all the things I like, I don't have any confidence to do what I want to do. I was afraid to try something new, even work. I was afraid that new things would disrupt my life. It could make my life worse. These reasons may come from social pressure like hard to find a job you like. In real life, we have to learn about different areas of the world as we get older. But in the virtual world, you can start your life at different stages, and you can change the course of your life. You can use your imagination and live your life the way you want. But each part still feels the same as it does in the real world, which is an indication of what's going on at this stage. What I want to do most is release my pressure in the virtual world. Even if real life is hard to control, in the virtual world everything is up to me. As much as I can imagine, it shows up in the virtual world.
My virtual world has six parts, starting point, ending point, and four different life stages. The texture of each part is related to the things in that part. In the beginning, a crazy clock means that time in the virtual world is different from that in real life. It also means that life in the virtual world will be different. There are four paths around the starting point, and players can choose any stage they want to start. In the children's area, pictures of toys relate to children. Also, there are push objects, these objects are like blocks, players can play with them. Of course, players can also push these things to other parts to create their own worlds. In the workspace, there is a maze and a few characters. One of the characters would say, "congratulations, you've got a job.", other characters will let you go find a job. The gold and coin patterns in the work area to show that work can make money. In the relationships part, you just need to find a lover. A heart-shaped object with a pink picture to express love. Then the agedness part, a lot of the old cartoon patterns were used. The last part tells you that you are the author of your life story. In the beginning, there are many leaves on the tree to indicate new life, but in the end, there are no leaves on the tree to indicate the end. Each part has a different color. I put lights of different colors in different places. The child part is blue, the work part is gold, the love part is pink, the old part is red. Each part of the character will say different things and make you do different things. I want my players to understand that life is complicated, but also to make it clear. Do the right thing at the right time, but you can also control your life.

Technology is innovation, and innovation comes from human creativity. New ideas may often pop up in our daily life, and the process of realizing these new ideas is people's creativity. This makes it easier for customers to transmit the story they want to tell when they send a tweet. So creativity is very important in our modern life. Modeling Reality with Virtual Worlds

With the progress of science and technology, the virtual world has been widely used. Such as games, SIMS and so on. I've Been in That Club, Just Not in Real Life. However, by presenting the club in a virtual way, the bad environment will disappear, the club in the virtual world will be enjoyable, and the virtual club will look real through many details, such as talking to the characters in the virtual world. Virtual worlds can also be used in work, such as creating an office virtual world. In the article "Going to the Virtual Office in Second Life," companies use Virtual worlds for meetings to reduce expenses and save money. I once watched a video where a mother lost her child and an engineer put her child's appearance into the virtual world. By VR the mother saw her child again. Although the virtual world is not real, this virtual world gives the mother emotional sustenance. I think it's a good use of the virtual world, putting reality in the virtual world and suspending time in the virtual world. 


The virtual world has many advantages, such as creating a tourist attraction in the virtual world, so that we can use technology to travel to different places at home. Virtual worlds can also help train special professionals, such as firefighters and soldiers. Sometimes, real-life training can be dangerous and may lead to injuries to these soldiers. If they can practice emergencies in a controlled environment, they can learn severe and dangerous operations without harming anyone. Virtual worlds can also help people overcome language barriers. There is a game called VR Chat. You can go to different countries and chat with people in that country through this game. In this virtual world, no one knows who you are and no one will laugh at your language, so you can practice the language more boldly in this virtual game. On the other hand, the virtual world also has its disadvantages. Creating a virtual world is expensive and takes a lot of effort. After all, the virtual world is not real, so it can not be completely consistent with reality. However, many people may indulge in virtual worlds and escape from reality. For example, some very real shooting games, these games can cause players to indulge and forget the rules of the real world. They tend to be violent because of the virtual world.

Virtual worlds can create people's imagination. In the virtual world, players can do things they can't do in real life. Players can be heroes in the virtual world, as superman. The virtual world allows people to do everything that cannot be done in the real world. It can be said that in the virtual world, people are completely free. There are no rules that bind people's imagination. In the virtual world, people can boldly imagine everything possible. Everything can be created in a virtual world. It is because people's imagination increases people's creativity. I think with the development of the times, it will be easier for people to create virtual worlds. Everyone can create their own virtual world. And I think people will be able to present virtual worlds without using AR in the future. In addition, We are now bringing real social experience into the virtual world, but maybe people's creativity can bring something new from the virtual world to reality.

I think Facebook can do more than twitter. On Facebook, users can not only post, but their posts can also indicate their mood. If they post about one thing, users can say who they did it with. I use Instagram to post some pictures of the nice sky. I think youngers are more willing to use Instagram. The nice pictures will attach people's attention. Also, a lot of Influencers are using Instagram and some Influencers can be seen by society is because of Instagram. Indeed, there are a lot of stars are using Instagram, they use it to show their fans what they are doing and promote their works. Instagram can also create specific themes, this usage is the same as Twitter.
In addition, I would like to introduce you to Weibo. Weibo is the social networking that most Chinese people use to post the blog. It's similar to Facebook but it's more wield use in China. In addition to blogging, it is the most famous place is, it has a hot search list. It will make a list of all the topics people are concerned about, and the higher the ranking of the topic because more people click more. This lets more people know that people are talking about the hottest topics right now. For example, during the current Coronavirus period, most of the hot search topics are about this virus. It will update important news from different countries and let people know more about what is happening now.

Blog about Twitter

In blackboard's discussion board, each of us will have our own thread. We need to click thread according to the title to see the specific explanation of our classmates. In blackboard, we just select one or two classmates' threads to open and reply. Moreover, in the discussion board, we have specific topics to discuss, all posts are about specific topics. All topics is listing on the board. On Twitter, however, everyone's posts appear on the home page, and we don't have to click on any topic to see everyone's posts. If we need to add a specific topic to the post we just need to tag it. After adding the tag, we can see all the posts on this topic in the tag. I think twitter is more interesting and convenient.
