The Digital Divide Description

     The topic I would like to do for the term paper is the digital divide. This is actually the first time I've heard this topic. After I searched this topic and learned some related concepts, I think this phenomenon does exist in society. First, I want to research and define what the digital divide is and what causes it. I'm going to talk about it from a couple of perspectives, such as social or education. Then, I'll find out how different people think about the digital divide, and how the digital divide will affect our life. I think some people may not know what the digital divide does in our life. So, I wanted to demonstrate the different effects of the digital divide on society. In addition, I'm going to show the advantages and disadvantages of the digital divide in this paper. For example, the digital divide allows certain functions to be used by certain people because some functions should not be made available to all people. But the digital divide would widen the gap between rich people and the poor. I'm going to define these different views of the digital divide. I might also add a solution to how to solve the disadvantage of the digital divide or the future of the digital divide. This is a preliminary summary, and I'll get more specific later. It's also possible to find more points during the research.
